EAK PRASAD DUWADI
Eak Prasad Duwadi is an Assistant Professor of English at Kathmandu University, Nepal. Teaching is his forte. He has been teaching linguistics and creative writing besides giving managerial communication classes to both graduate and undergraduate students. He is the author of three books-- God’s Greatest Gift and other non-fictitious fictions, Female Teachers at Schools in Nepal: Cats on the Hot Tin Roofs, and Hedonism, Shame and Disgrace. He has got published over a dozen research articles in inter/national peer-reviewed journals. Also he often contributes to national dailies-- The Kathmandu Post and The Himalayan Times. He went to Ohio University, USA in 2013 as a SUSI grantee, and has been the recipient of US State Department funded e-teacher scholarships with the University of Oregon and University of Maryland Baltimore County. His research interests include health communication and discourse, linguistics, and language policy. His most recent publication is an article in the IATEFL Voices on “reading critically”.
